Visit Us
The Student Health Center is conveniently located behind the bookstore, adjacent to Mayo Hall. In addition, a 24-hour nurse advice line is available after hours by calling our main number, (707) 654-1170.
Whether on campus or at sea, certain illnesses, injuries, or conditions may require hospitalization or specialized care beyond our scope of services. In these cases, students will be referred to local medical providers, and the use of personal health insurance will be essential.
Counseling and Psychological Services
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), part of Student Health Services, provides in person and virtual services that are confidential, free of charge and are not a barrier to licensure. We help students experiencing a range of concerns, including personal, academic, interpersonal/relationship, family, social and other psychological difficulties.
Schedule your first appointment online through the Student Health Portal or at the Student Health Center (707) 654-1170.

SUMMER SEA TERM
During the annual Summer Sea Term, the Student Health Center operates from the Medical Treatment Facility aboard the Training Ship Golden Bear. This facility is staffed by a physician, an advanced practice provider, and a licensed therapist. The ship is equipped with a basic laboratory, X-ray capabilities, medical supplies and pharmaceuticals to meet most student healthcare needs while at sea.
