Cutting Edge Facilities
Golden Bear Research Center
Our 500-foot accredited floating laboratory is focused on testing and evaluating technologies that mitigate environmental impacts of marine vessels such as ballast water management and emissions systems.
Simulation Center
Equipped with state of the art 360 degree simulators and crisis management tools, our students get first-hand training in navigation, cargo handling, oil spill response and maritime safety.
Engineering and Navigation Labs
Hands-on labs include marine steam and diesel simulators, Radar/ARPA and ECDIS training, a GMDSS lab which supports our vessel operations and engineering systems.
