Cal Poly Maritime Academy is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC). The last comprehensive visit was in 2019. The next accreditation visit is scheduled for Spring 2027.

- The Marine Engineering Technology and Facilities Engineering Technology programs are Accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission (ETAC) of ABET
- The Department of International Business and Logistics has received specialized accreditation for its business programs through the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) located at 11960 Quivira Rd. Ste 300, Overland Park, KS 66213.
