Ahoy!

It's Saturday on TS Golden Bear and we are reporting live from the middle of the Pacific. Well... about half way between California and Hawaii. The weather has been overcast but starting to heat up outside. We are all staying busy and hoping the days fly by! Tomorrow we have a BBQ and Karaoke to look forward to. Otherwise it is business as usual.

Engineers have been busy with sign offs and other maintenance projects... there is always a leaky pipe that needs fixing around here!

Our Oceanography team has been working hard! Here they are sifting through ocean debris, phytoplankton, and zooplankton. Did you know? Both types of plankton exhibit bioluminescence, which we have seen while on Sea Term. The team will be presenting some of their findings under microscope starting on Monday and we are excited to see what they've collected.
