Looking Forward to Time Off in Guam

Ahoy!
After a successful 11-day stretch, TS Golden Bear arrived in Guam on Friday, June 6th. The weather upon arrival was hot, humid, a bit cloudy, but overall fantastic - we are looking forward to spending a couple amazing days here. So far so good!

Huge shout out and THANK YOU to Cabras Marine Corporation for the gratis service as well as treating a group of Cadets to an awesome tour and lunch (photos to follow).
After 11 days of work, we are ready to have some time off!
We are docked at Naval Base Guam which is an interesting and new experience for us.
We got to see a submarine on our way into the harbor - pretty cool!
And a big thank you to our Pilot, Captain Nick Chargualaf for the warm welcome - pictured here with local Cadet Alfred Leon Guerrero and Captain Bannister. These guys go way back!
Fair winds and following seas...
